The River Coalition staff possess a wide variety of skills and experience as well as a strong connection to the Old Town area. 

  • Executive Director Search

    The Executive Director works in partnership with the Board and staff to provide leadership, vision and direction of a non-profit organization.  Areas of responsibility include the overall administration and management with active oversight of and involvement in fiscal management, grant writing, public relations, fundraising and community relations building.  Prior experience and demonstrated success is a prerequisite.  Send resume to Doris Seger, Facilitator, River Coalition, Inc., 392 Main Road, Milford, ME  04461.

  • After School Program Coordinator Search

    The River Coalition is seeking a part-time person to work with its programs at OT Elementary, Leonard Middle School and Lewis Libby School for the 08/09 school year.  The Coordinator will work closely with the River Coalition management staff as well as the site coordinators and school administrators to enhance the program staff’s ability to meet the required goals and objectives.  For more information, see the job description or call Lisa at 827-8744.  Please send cover letter and resume to the River Coalition, PO Box 229, Old Town, ME  04468no later than September 25, 2008.

  • Micah Robbins, Executive Director

            Micah Robbins, Executive Director, has been overseeing mentoring programs for 3 years.  He is a University of Maine graduate with more than 10 years experience as a Lead Adventure Facilitator/Programmer, designing adventure programming and training for youth at risk.  Micah is also trained facilitator for Reconnecting Youth. 

  • Lisa Morin, Manager of Operations

         Lisa Morin has 20 years of administrative experience with both non-profit and for-profit organizations.  She brings a strong financial background and grant organization experience to the River Coalition.  Lisa was a City Councilor in Old Town from 2003-2006 and has strong ties to the school department and other area organizations.

  • Willow McVeigh, Prevention Specialist/Project Coordinator

         Willow McVeigh joined the River Coalition in January 2007.  She has a Master of Science in Human Development from the University of Maine and experience working with two other non-profit agencies.  Since joining the River Coalition Willow has furthered our partnerships with local business and restaurants as well as the University of Maine.  Willow is a trained Guiding Good Choices facilitator and TIPS (Responsible Beverage Server Training) Presenter.

     

  • Board of Directors

    In keeping with the requirements of a Drug-Free Communities Coalition, the RC Board of Directors contains representation from many different sectors of our community.  Sectors requiring representation include school, municipal, public safety, education, medical/health, faith-based/fraternal, parents, students, community members, and other youth serving non-profits.  In addition to the required sectors, the RC Board seeks representation from each of the six communities we serve.  Current list of Board of Directors.
